Waaq

For several millenniums Waaqism remained permanent dominant characteristic of Somali origination counteracting to foreign influences contaminating what was initially considered fundamentally pure Somali trait. The religion of Waaqism cultivated the remarkable survival of confident and proud population.

Waaq was the ancient Somali god before Islam/Allah was introduced to the locals by Arabs. The two propagate substantial cultural and historical differences evident even today. The difference between Waaq and Allah is that Waaq was an entirely Somali concept, albeit sharing traits with Oromo and other Cushitic people of East Africa, whereas Allah is an entirely Arabic concept. Therein lies a fundamental difference. All religions contain rudimentary beliefs in which individuals are indoctrinated and brainwashed with as kids and so the valid question remains; how did the god of the foreigners become true and the god of our ancestors false?

Waaqism was the dominant religion of Somalia for over seven thousand years, eight hundred years of Islamism/Arabism erased this most original religion of Somali people, subsequently rendering Somalia an Arab satellite nation devout of its original historical and cultural significance. A coherently objective and comprehensive analysis of the two yield impressive discoveries, which had never been done before due to Islam's contamination and/or strident opposition to Islamized nations' originally preserving customs, norms and characteristics.

To the extent Waaq remains unknown to many, so does Islam due to its foreign origination; in language, history, culture and political philosophy Islam is pro Arab; it's theirs. The study of the religion of Waaq is the study of Somali history because knowing your past guides your future. Welcome to the religion of our ancestors: Waaq.
